We would like to get the EDI from our trading partner's VAN to our XI using Seeburger EDIINT AS2 adapter. Is this possible? If yes, what are the things we should keep in mind.
Yes, if you also get an account at the same (or different) VAN and pay for an AS2 connection to that VAN. No, if you want to piggy-back on your partner's VAN without having to pay.
Our trading partner has a VAN account that provides AS2 connection. So, basically we will be posting AS2 messasge to our trading partner's VAN. Is the feasible?
Based on my experience, if the partner is paying for an AS2 gateway service at the VAN, so they don't have to implement AS2, then yes you should be OK.
If the partner isn't paying for an AS2 gateway service, then I don't think you will be able to get away without cost.
