editing a submitted shopping cart

I was told that we cannot edit a shopping cart once its been submitted (an SAP control, not the way we configured SRM) However, I need documentation that states this is the case rather than being told from my SAP team. Does anyone have any or know of any SAP documentation that states a shopping cart cannot be edited after submission? Thanks!

A SC can be edited provided it is not approved. Also if a SC ends up in error in tranmission or error in process status after approval then the SC can be edited.

This edit or Change option in SC is modifiable in the BADI BBP_UI_CONTROL_BADI.

Hello,

As of SRM 7.0, edit button is available in shopping cart even after ordering it, but this will allow end user to delete cart item only. Not to change the cart or add new items.

Carts do not have change version. For this reason it cannot be changed after ordered.

You maybe can look for any information in SAP Help.

HI,

You can edit the Shopping cart when its in awaiting approval state but you cannot edit an Shopping cart once its approved. This is the standard SAP functionality.. I am afraid this information is not document anywhere as far as I know.
