Check Phase fail on upgrade

Hello experts, I'm doing an upgrade from Solman 701 to Solman 710, but when SAPUP reaches phase 4 (Checks) I get a message like this

"Unable to execute the SDT request ABAP operation check on hostname solman instance 00

Checks of ABAP upgrade request ABAP hava failed

Error from unit observer

Tool died unexpectedly whit sapparam (argc,argv) has not been called!"

What can be the problem?

Hi,

it may be some ABAP packages are missing usr\sap\trans\EPS\in forlder, hence check the log and proceed to add the missing packages.

there is one more solution provided in the sdn wiki, please search for your prb and the solution in below

shivjansi: I did the missing packages solution in phase #3 and finished succesfully, I'm actually on phase 4 (check)

Have you checked the port or have you tried re-extracting the .SAR??

I have re extracted the SAR file of SOLMANUP ... didn't work, just show me the same message

the port is used by solmanup 4240 (for java) and 4239 for gui connection

Even I reboot the server to free the ports and started Solmanup again

I was checking another logs and I found this, but I don't know how to solve it

It worked! but I don't know if that change was correct

I got another error inmediatly the last

Checks after phase PREP_GENCHECKS/JOB_RSAUCHK_DUP were negative!

Last error code set: BATCHJOB RSAU_CHECK_DUPRECS_RSUPDINFO FAILED: Code -1 during analysis of logfiles matching 'RSUPDINFO\.SLM'.
