Re-use Project number when it has been deleted

Hi Experts.

I have created a Project and i have marked it as deleted, but i would like to use the same number again.

I think that there is a program that you have to execute to do that, but i am not sure and i can´t remember.

Could you help me please?

As far as i know, once a proejct is deleted or deletion flag is set you cannot use the same project number again. Reason being, though the project is deleted or deletion flag is set for that project it actually does not get deleted. A logical entry is still there in the database for that project. Hence the system does not allow you to reuse the same project number.

One thing i can suggest is to try and archive that project and then try reusing the project number. Check if it works.

i think in SAP the deletion flag is set for those project, we cannot use this same project number again as per my understanding.
