No Idocs arrived from the source system

Dear Members,

Am facing below issue while creating info packages. Plz any one provide best solution .

Diagnosis

No errors found. The current process has probably not finished yet.

System Response

The ALE inbox of BI is identical to the ALE outbox of the source system

or

the maximum wait time for this request has not yet been exceeded

or

the background job has not yet finished in the source system.

Current status

No Idocs arrived from the source system.

Hi,

Please check following.

1.RSA1 - Source system connection check ,If not working as expected

2.RFC's from both source and target system

3.WE20 and WE21 entries in both source and target system for both instances

4.Check in WE21 is partner port is active(If not active ,activate it),Check all message types Inbound and Outbound,to see if parameters are correct.

5.Check SM58 for stuck tRFC(Execute LUW's)

6.Check BD87 for stuck iDocs(Process IDocs)

7.Reactivate Source system using RSA1, if nothing else works

Iam tried all of that but still the problem was not solved

Records are not coming to psa table.

HI,

Have you seen BIREQ* jobs(extraction job) in the source system getting executed?

As the error says "the background job has not yet finished in the source system".

Check if jobs are getting triggered in source system or not.

Next thing you can check in BW system is, Tcode SBIW>General settings>Maintain Control parameter for Data transfer

Here,maintain correct value for source system,such as Logical name and application server name.

Dear Ashutosh,

Idid not find any connection in sap bi (sbiw), And alsi i searched in r3 system a connection is there but target field is appearing empty.Structures are replicating to bi but data not coming from r3.

Hi,

Do these steps:

Login to yr BW system

Goto SBIW>General setings>Maintain control parameter for data transfer

Add parameter for R3 system(Src system - R3's logical name,Max value 50000,Min 15000,Freq 15,Max Process 8,Tgt system - App server or CI of R3 as seen in SM51 of R3)

This should resolve your issue,as you have already confirmed that WE20/WE21/SM59/BD87 are OK.
