Maintenance Cycle Generated - What next? How to test the ChaRM?

Dear all,

I am naive to Charm and related areas. However, after immense help from SDN member, especially, Dolores Correa, I am now able to generate the maint. cycle. I can now see maint. cycle number & also task list. However, what next is I am unaware of?

How can I test this? Can anybody guide me?

I am told to go to CRMD_ORDER transaction and create the business transaction, however, this is all greek to me. If anyone can help me with steps it will be of great help.

When I am trying to Activate the maintenance cycle from "Status" button, I am getting following error:

Message: Phase change from created to development without release is not possible.

Can you please tell me how can I activate and change the phase? Activation is required right?

Hi,

This is the knwn issue in ChaRM after the activation.

Let me know how you tried to activate the ChaRM?

Dear Shivjansi,

Followed both the SAP Notes. However problem remain the same. I am still not able to change the phase or activate the cycle.

Any idea if I am missing on anything?

Update: I navigated to the serivce desk transaction and then from the status button, I tried to activate the cycle. I also tried using TMWFLOW report to change the status of the task but no use.
