Hi,
Go to configtool.bat(located under /usr/sap...directory). double click on this and say yes to the dialogue box. Goto the cluster and your instanceId and then Server, right side you will see maxHeapsize, change it to 512 and Xms change it to 512.
And restart your server.

Hello all,
Now the JAVA engine is started and we can see ( we changed the New size and Max heap size parameters)
1> SDM
2> dispatcher node
3> server 0 node
in green and status as running.
But when we login using http://<FQDN HOST NAME>:<port>/irj/portal
We can see only Welcome screen but nothing really is displayed. The links like search, Advanced search and personalize, logoff are not working.
Kind Regards
Neenad
Neenad,
Could you elaborate a little on
"Now the JAVA engine is started and we can see ( we changed the New size and Max heap size parameters)"
Since the J2EE Engine isn't running, we can't use the Config Tool, so I am assuming you altered "instance.properties"? What exactley did you change.
and also..
What VM Parameters did you change for Server0?
Thanks,
-Tim
Neenad,
This problem is fue to the mismatch of JVM parameters you have put in config tool . Pls see this link and correct it
