Contract Generator - Document Processing Fails

Hello All,

I just configured Contract Generator for my SAP Sourcing Instance.

Now the WordService is up and running at http://<hostname>/WordService/wordservice.asmx

However, I cannot add new documents/contracts as the processing of the document fails. The error I observe in the FCI logs is:

Anyone have any ideas as to why the Processing fails and what the 'messagebox' error is?

I have verified all permissions and networking settings, and they seem to be in order.

All help is appreciated.

Hi,

2 things that you can check are:

1. The Virus scan can be stopped and restarted. Sometimes that can be an issue.

2. We once had an issue wherein the PROD Admin password which was encrypted into the Contract gen got changed and the contract gen ceased to work after that

Obviously raising an OSS message with SAP will help as well, if everything else looks fine
