The database directory cannot be found on the indicated file system

I am in the process of performing a System copy of a BW System. I am in the process of importing a dump file.

I get the message u201CThe database directory cannot be found on the indicated file systemu201D. I noticed that the necessary drives (/db2/<SID>, /usr/sap/<SID> is available in the file system. The LIST DATABASE DIRECTORY command returns the database directory as /db2/<SID>

Please assist.

Hi Balaji,

It seems that the local directories below sqllib have gone.

try to recatalog the db with : catalog db xx on /ccc

For eg: db2 catalog db <DBFEPESP> on </fs02/data01>

Hi Balaji,

Are you running the Sys Copy in the cluster node ?

Make sure you running system copy and DB folders are in same server.
