SAP Note implementation

Hi Experts,

BASIS team is going to implement SAP Note "1497003 - Potential directory traversals in applications" on SAP ABAP Systems.

Will it affect SAP PI system as well?

If so, could you please tell what changes we have to do from SAP PI side.

Hi Sundari,

Since you are applying the note on ECC ABAP system, it will not have any impact on PI system.

Since this note talks about implementation of various function modules and changes in authorization object S_dataset, you need to confirm whether these objects or function modules are directly connected to your configurations done in PI.

If not, then do not worry about this note application.
