Can't view BO generated excel files on iphone

Does anyone know of a work around for review excel files created in BO, scheduled through Webi and emailed as an excel file? Using BlackBerry, I could view the excel file but with the iphone 4, only bolded text can be viewed in the excel file...

Hi

unfortunately this is a problem common to all old type XLS files when viewed in Apple devices.

Some proposed solutions are to upgrade IOS, others suggest convert to XLSX ( a quite complex workaround could do the job )

I would suggest to propose an idea at: https://ideas.sap.com to schedule documents to XLSX format
