Hello,

during the JCo connection test with user/pass the error 'ashost' is missing appears. There are a couple of discussion that describe this problem but they all refer to windows machines. Where do I have to configure the ashost when the portal is running on linux (java stack only)? There is also note 543870 but I couldn't figure out how to set it in linux.

Thanks a lot,

Vanessa

Hello Diego,

thanks for your reply. Yes, I already had a look into this documentation but couldn't figure out how to solve the 'ashost' is missing problem.

Greetings, Vanessa

Hi,

Could you give a bit more information about the jco connection. Is it a jco connection from a stand aload application? If thats the case there could be an issue with your code or the jco version you are using, So we would also need to know your jco version.

If it is an integrated jco connection between the portal and an abap system did you create the connection via the content administrator. If so a few screen shots of the connection details and the secruity details would be useful,

Kind regards,

Cathal
