Hello

We have ECC on AIX

We have a stand alone Windows System ,

in which there is a BATCH FILE

named PUSH.BAT

available in folder C:\123\

Our ABAPer asking to create RFC to this and give that he get this processed rest of the process.

It is very Sure

It should be a TCP/IP - RFC Destination and need to be selected as "Start on Explicit Host"

Target Host : We give - stand alone Windows System IP Addres

But - How we need to give "PROGRAM NAME" in the filed for my remote windows batch file "C:\123\PUSH.BAT "

Hi,

If there is no SAP abap system on the windows host, you need a SAP standalone gateway on it.

Otherwise your batch file will not execute by miracle...

Or you can install rfcexec.exe as a windows service and create a RFC destination of type "Registered Server Program".

Now I am runing my batch file on a server where some other ABAP Server is runing with a gate way,

Can i Consume that gate way ? (or) Standalone Gate way must ?

Irrespective...

What i should give in PROGRAM field in RFC destination ?

The gateway details i give in the bottem part of the destination

Hi,

You should read documentation about RFC destinations. Your questions show that the concepts are not clear for you...

If you have an ABAP server on the Windows server, you can use an R/3 RFC destination to call a function module which will call the bat file script. It will work but it is not a very good solution : what happens when the abap server is stopped ?
