Creation of Time stream in APO from R/3

We always prefer our ECC system to be the master data system . We intend to create Time stream in APO based on planning calenders from ECC system .

Kindly confirm if SAP has provided any time stream creation logic in APO from an OLTP system or R/3

You can transfer Factory Calendars from ECC to APO by using program RSIMPCUST in APO. This requires ECC to be defined as a Source System in APO BI (Transaction RSA1). This transfer uses RFC, but its not technically part of the CIF.

Once Factory Calendars are transferred to APO, you can create Time Streams based on them.

Hi Gomathi,

We can use fatory calendar\holiday calendars from ECC but we cannot CIF time streams from ECC. Since these are based on time series objects, they need to be created in APO based on the calendar work days\weeks.
