Capture customer specified quality parameters in sales contract/order

Dear Experts

Please let me know whether any way to capture list of quality parameters provided by customer to capture in the sales contract/order.

We dont have make to order scenario. We have only normal make to stock scenario in which my client wants to capture the quality parameters provided by customer in the contract/Order level just for the information.

Hi Surya,

If it is only for the purpose of information, you may consider capturing the details as "Text" at the Header/Item level.

You may also make use of Additional data tabs.

It is only for the information.

These quality parameter charecteristics varies from product to product.

It is only for the information but they may take a report out of it & compare the customer request & delviered( batch parameters)

Hi,

As I have mentioned earlier, you may consider the option of using Additional data tabs. You can then pass the quality parameters into Z-fields in VBAK table.

A report can be created to pull this data from VBAK and compare with customer requirement. Hope this helps.
