External Procurement Relationships are inactive on APO Trans Lanes

Hello Experts,

I have a situation were a PIR record in ECC has been flagged for deletion for a particular Material/Vendor/Plant/Purch Org. combination. The problem appears in APO. After the PIR changes are processed through the CIF, the External Procurement Relationship on the Transportation Lane for all same Plant/same Vendor/same Material/different Purch Org. are marked as inactive.

Example. Vendor 123, Plant ABC, Material a1b2c3, Puchasing Org. 1000 is inactive in ECC (PIR marked for deletion) and APO.

Vendor 123, Plant ABC, Material a1b2c3, Purchasing Org, 2000 is also inactive in APO and should not be.

Is this situation were all the Plant/Vendor/Material/Purch Org. records are marked as inactive standard delivered functinality? Is there a way to prevent all the Trans Lanes from changing to inactive?

Thanks in advance for your help,

Jeff Hnatiak

The MRP indicator in the source list (corresponding to that material - vendor - branch ) combination determines if the the external procurement relationship should be inactive or not. If the MRP indicator is 1 then the epr will be active. If the mrp indicator is blanked out then the epr will become inactive .So check the settings in your source list

Thanks

Hello Aparna,

The MRP indicator in ECC for the material, Vendor, Purch. Org. is a 1. My guess is that when the PIR record is marked for deletion and the CIF sends that information to SCM, the External Procurement Relationship gets inactivated for all lanes for the particular material/plant/vendor regardless of the Purch. Org.

Jeff
