Ability for a manager to view approval status

Hi Experts,

I have a requirement when manager approves or rejects a travel request or trip from UWL. He/she should be able to see the status of approved or rejected trip at any point of time. Is there a standard way or service to fulfill this requirement?

For our client also we have done developments to show the list of approved and pending for approval trips at the portal. This all has been custom development and it is not available in standard SAP.

I seem to recall a similar query recently and the requirement was for a report to show trips pending approval or that had been approved at manager or approver level... which I think is your requirement here.

If so, then you would need to make your own adhoc query here, maybebased on the PTRV_SCOS or on the rpr_trip_cost_assignment_data or PTRVP but all standard reports are based on PTRVP so you would need to perhaps look to the logical database PNP too.

Loads of standard reports are there in R/3 which can give this info
