how to make "subject" line mandatory on "create message" in incident managm

dear all,

could someone please point me in the right direction to make the "subject" mandatory when creating a message under the incident management.

is there a way to configure this, rather than coding or modifying the standard

Hi

What is the solman version you are using and from where you are creating tickets.

because from help->create support message option....short text (subject)..is already mandatory

if your version is 7.0 and posting via crmd_order..you have to use the badi to order_save by config you can't stop saving the ticket..only badi stops saving the ticket

ok, i am on solution manager 7.01, creating message via web dynpro AGS_WORK_INCIDENT_CREATE
