i am unable to do results recording to send material to unrestricted use

Hi All

I had rejcted total quantity and sent to blocked again using movement type 349 i moved material to Quality Inspection, now i am unable to do results recording to send material to unrestricted use, kindly help me in detaial.

Dear Anil,

What is the status of Inspection lot (Inspection type 08).

Ensure that you have created inspection plan with usage "9" and it is assigned to that inspection lot.

If Inspection plan is not assigned, Status will be CRTD CHCR.

in that case, create inspection plan for that material with Usage 9.

and assign it to the corresponding inspection lot. (QA02)

That means, Inspection plan is not assigned.

Check for Key date of inspection plan you have created.

Go to QA02>Inspection specification>Task list assign

You are right, when i click in task list/spec its giving comment "No inspection plan could be found"

Assumptions: you already said, you have created inspection plan with usage 9.

and you have inspection lot with inspection lot origin 08.

Now,

while assigning inspection plan manually, Enter the key date of TODAY.

It assures that, system will search for inspection plan which is Valid for Today (With usage 9 for that Material).

Ideally, Inspection plan must be created before creation of inspection lot.

One thing to add, There are lots of threads on this same topic in this Forum, Please Search.

I can do and finished RR & UD but still stock is showing in Quality Inspection, even i tried to move by movement type 321 in MB1B, but getting strucked at Remaining shelf life for batch even enetred as 365 days its givining as "Change the inspection stock of material 4402010021 in QM only"

You had to post stock while UD only.

Now, get inspection lot number, Goto QA12.

Go to "Inspection lot stock".

there you can post quantity wherever you want

when i enter lot no qa12 and try to execute its giving the error "The function you select cannot be carried out:"

This message means u have made usage decision.

Now u can not make stock posting for this lot.

If you have stock in QI then it should be linked with a specific inspection lot.

Run transaction QVM2 and see if a lot appears for the material/batch that you have stuck.

If so, you should be able to use QA12 to access the lot. You can then go to the sotck posting screen and post the material.

If you can't use QA12 for this lot my question would be why? You should be able to use QA12 to access any lot with a UD. If you can't, then maybe you have some form of a system status on the lot or something.
