Price List field in customer master

Hello

Does the price list field in customer master have any significance other than grouping customers for discounts / surcharges ?

What is the difference between the following 3 fields, other than just different grouping purpose ?

a) Customer group

b) Price group

c) Price List

Hi,

The usage of all the 3 field for pricing is similar - theit purpose is to execute customer segmentation in some groups in order to manage pricing condition maintenance in an easy way. The only difference is that the price list in standard can also by determined not only from customer master, but also from a dedicated condition record - the functionality is called price book. You take the correct price list from one condition record and the found price list is taken up for further pricing condition determination instead of the price list assigned in the customer master.

dear friend,

you can use price list types to apply conditions during pricing or to generate statistics.

system proposes the value automatically during sales order processing. but you can change the value manually in header.

the 3 items you mentioned are used in reporting purposes as well
