cFolder & Enterprise Portal Installation

Hi Experts,

We are using cFolders for two envelope bidding. Could you please help me with the following questions?

SAP Enterprise Portal

1) Do we need to configure the single sign on after EP is installed? Can we just make use of component from SAP EP(Java)? or we need a LDAP

cFolder

1) Is there a Database instances?

2) Where can find the supported OS/DB in the PAM for cFolder?

3) Is this Java or ABAP instances? Or is this not relevant?

Hi Kasee,

1). Do we need to configure the single sign on after EP is installed?

Its advisable to have SSO configured in EP so that user's don't have to sign on everytime.

2). Can we just make use of component from SAP EP(Java)? or we need a LDAP

What you want to make use of EP Java component? SSO ? Yes, you can use of EP Java component for SSO.

I would suggest you to check with your Business requirement for LDAP or SSO.

cFolder

1) Is there a Database instances?

Yes, CFolder has Database Instance.

2) Where can find the supported OS/DB in the PAM for cFolder?

You can check or search for cProject suite in PAM, both are two different WebDynpro Applications but packed together in one suite.

3) Is this Java or ABAP instances? Or is this not relevant?

cFolder is ABAP instance.
