Hello experts.
The situation I have is when a delivery is created, the availability check is considering the products in transfer orders (transfer purchase orders, created in MM) created for this plant. So what happens is, even though there is no stock at the moment at that plant, the system allows the creation of the delivery because there is a transfer order created.
Can any of you tell me how I can change this, so that the availability check does not considerthe transfer orders? Also, how can I verify what is the availability checking rule that is used during delivery creation?
Thanks,
Edson
First you have to identify what availability check is assigned to that material master. Then go to OVZ9, select that availability check with the combination of B and execute. There you have to check which are all the boxes checked. Some box related to Transfer Order (may be some text as shipment) should be unchecked which I am not sure which field it is as I dont have access to SAP now.

Do you mean the delivery is created against sales order? If so, then first check in sales order line item ->schedule line tab, whether the system confirmed any quantity or not. If not confirmed, the system can still create delivery, but you can't pick any goods (as there is not stock) and goods issue. If you want the system not to create any delivery if there is no confirmation of quantity, then you need to add relevant coding in the copying requirements field routine in t.code VTLA.
If you are creating the delivery against stock transport order, still you can't perform picking and good issue functions in delivery.
