PR 05 withdrawn employees

Hi All,

Iam trying to look for the payment history for the employees whos status is 0(withdrawn) however system is throwing a warning message as Employee is inactive (events) between 12/31/2011 and 01/13/2012

The same dates are reflected for any employee i pick up whos status is withdrawn.

The question is can we not view the payment history for the inactive or withdrawn employees?

2. Dates are shown the same for any employee i.e. 12/31/2011 and 01/13/2012 so their is something to do with the config of dates - please advice as iam new to travel management - thanks

It depends on how you configure the leaving action for terminated or inactive employees, this is done with the flag 'Maintenance permitted after leaving' in table V_T582A, for the relevant HR infotypes 0000, 0001 and 0017.

When an employee leaves the company or is inactive , the general process is to create an action for the master data. You can either use the standard delivered action 'Org reassignment' or create/copy your own based on the standard.

You can do this in transaction PR05, menu point environment > personnel actions. Here you activate the radiobutton "Organizational reassignment" and press enter. Then you can create an action. You should use the action type 'leaving' and it should do all necessary plausibility checks.

This means as there may still be a need to process expenses with posting to FI/Payroll etc after the termination date

these actions are still possible.

Thank you for replying.

In PR05 when an employee is active iam able to view Payment history details for that particular PERNR, however when we terminate the employee we are not able to view the payment history details the warning reflected is as "Employee is inactive (events) between 12/31/2011 and 01/13/2012"

Also in PR05 as you mentioned in actions we can activate radio button Organization reassignment, however we are not able to find that radio button - please suggest - thanks
