Return delivery of handling unit from incoming inspection

Hi all

Iam getiing following mesage when i do return delivery of handling unit .

Reason for Mvmt 0001 not supported (check your entry)

Good question I think.

There is no 'reason for movement' column in 'inspection stock' tab if an inspection lot for HU.

And SAP standard program 'MQEVAF41' has hard-coding like below...

If 'reason for movement' is required, move '0001' to 'reason for movement' field.

Therefore you have to add '0001' reason code for movement type '122'.

Or you have to change 'optional' for control of reason.

In OMJJ check field control reason for mvt type you are using

Have you setup reason for movement mandatory field for movement type?

Have you created all required "reason" support to mov. type? Are you entering "reason for movet" from drop down selection?

If you are posting from QI to return delivery,

you will enter quantity into "Return Delivery". Just on the right side you can see "Document" button. Click on it.

Here you can enter reason for Movement.

Iam using handling unit scenario where you have to maintan posting for every HU and there is no place to put reason there.

It should be right side for each HU..since it is mandatory u have to select for each posting otherwise system won't allow u to post.

Better change "reason for mov" to optional at given config path, so u will be able to do transaction...once you figure out then change again to mandatory again...

handling unit/ Highest lev HU / Packed quantity / Unit / Posting /Status / Information for quantity posting / Plnt / sloc

Goto OMJJ,

and check settings for particular movement type in "Reason for Movement".
