No messages in moni but in Idx5

Hi experts,

we have file to idoc scenario and once file has been updated idoc has to be generated in ECC. But now i cant see any of messages related to this interface in moni from last one year in production. When i try to see in Idx5 i can see messages but messages are not opening is there any configuration has to be maintained y messages are not getting opened but we can see in idx5 not able to see in moni? Please help on this asap..

Hi,

What i mean to say is there were no messages in moni at all of this interface but data is updating in R/3 means Idocs getting generated. I can see idocs in Idx5 but cannot see any messages in moni what might be the reason? And there was no archiving done?Checked in RWB also.

Hi,

may be IE logging is switched off? Check SXMB_ADM / Integration Engine Configuration / Parameter RUNTIME LOGGING -> 0 means: No logging.

Hi udo,

If Runtime logging '0' how it will effect moni?Could you please explain ? And it is the case only one interface meessages are missing in moni not all scenarios..

Hi,

Check the archiving configuration implemented for the system....

if archiving is enabled messages will not be shown in Moni...

Hi,

IDX5 is showing meta data, not messages.

Check the File Sender Channel in Communiction Channel Monitoring of Runtime Workbench.
