reg:to check os/db compatibility

Hi All,

I want to check the OS and DB(oracle) compattibility feature for SAP 640_EX2 Kernel maintenance as we will go for further upgrades.

Added to this ,how to check in PAM and how to use it and what to type for getting exact search.Can anyone tell me exact steps so that i can learn how to check properly in PAM?

Hi RAM,

go to http://service.sap.com/PAM

You can either search your product or browse it. 640_EX2 is under Product netweaver 2004.

From the general data tab, it will tells your version, can be upgraded from and to, maintenance info and etc. To check DB and OS compatibility, browse to Database Platforms tab.

perform a search with "SAP NETWEAVER 04" and look for it at the search result.

Hi Nicholas ,

i just followed ur guideleines and got my information by clicking DB/OS platforms and came to know that for SAP 6.40 EX2 64bit i need a minimum oracle 10.2 and sunos5.10
