Hi Anwer,

Apart from just supplementing the English for Arabic you need to configure your front end and OS on your pc (probably windows XP) for Arabic display. There are a couple of settings for acheiving this. Like Maintaining options and I18N settings etc.,

Also pls check whether you are at highest patch levels both for your front end and backend.

We have implemented Arabic with ECC5 unicode. No issues.

Sridharb,

Thanks for the answer, we are using Arabic enabled Windows XP without any problem,

I should do supplement by the expert option…of SMLT---language-special actions…….>supplementation (expert)

I did with the supplementation (basic)

Please check my supplementation (basic) steps for the Client 100..

Let me know what other setting required from the front-end as well as language management…what should I do more to replace?????? Question mark and garbage data with English

CLIENT 100

Supplement Client-specific table ………..checkbox was selected default

System and control table ……………...checked with grayed

Customizing tables……………............i did un-check

Anwar,

The better thing is to do a language supplementation in 000 and do a client copy. In that way you can use the supplementation in other clients.

Regarding the front end settings...

You better search sap notes(Note 587150 - Support of Arabic-script languages) for Arabic text or RTL language. There are a lot of notes. And you may require to have a look before proceeding with any Arabic developments or Arabic printing.

The problem seems to be only in the language buffer and it could be easily solved running report RSLANG20 in the client where you need your language .

Just use se38 to run in and in the next screen select your language and put a flag on FORCE MODE . Question marks at the next logon will desappear.

Let me know if the results are good as expected .
