Hi all,

I configured the XML DAS for archiving of J2EE tables. After this synchronization the directory is created "xi_sec" und Sysid and home directory. But when I start the security archiving over the RWB comonent monitoring it does nothing.

Can anyone give me a hint?

the table XI_AF_MSG is growing and has to be archived in order empty the table.

Thanx

Olli

Hi Oliver,

The following is provided in the XI 30 Tuning Guide.

XI Message Persistence

Asynchronous messages are persisted during Adapter Framework inbound or outbound processing. You must keep in mind that the XI message table XI_AF_MSG will grow according to the message throughput. This needs to be observed to prevent table overflows, especially in databases using stor-age parameters (Oracle, DB2). To estimate how much storage is required, multiply the maximum number of messages to be kept in the database by the average message size and add 20% as a safety margin.

Not sure the above para will really help you...but pls do take this as a pointer and refer this guide which is available in http://service.sap.com.

Cheers

JK
