BD52 entries for material master classification

Hi Experts

I want to maintain BD52 for certain fields from material master record.

I need to identify certain characteristics from material class (class type 001).

Which values to be maintained in table and field in BD52?

Hi,

1. Go to the fields of that characteristic class of the material master

2. You can find the technical field name by placing the cursor on the required field and press F1 and click on technical information/assistance button of help

3.You will get the techncal field name of the characteristic field and the table in which that field is maintained...

4. Add those entries to the table BD52..so that change pointers will be enabled for those fields...

5. If it is a standard field it will be there in the change pointer table(BD52) by default. you need to add the entry to the table only if the field is custom one.
