Where to find MDM SAP Master installer

Hello Gurus,

I am very new to MDM. In my company we already have MDM 7.1 installed on UNIX server. Now we have a requirement where I have to register MDM server on SLD.

As far as the SAP guide is concern, they say that you have to start MDM SAPinst file. however I am not able to find it anywhere in system.

Would anyone able to help me out here. Any pointers will be appreciable.

Hi,

You can easily get it from service Market place (SMP login required). To do so, follow below steps:

1. Open service market place download center using link [https://websmp204.sap-ag.de/swdc|https://websmp204.sap-ag.de/swdc]

2. From left hand menu in SAM Download center, select "Support packages and patches".

3. Click on "A-Z Index"

4. Follow the path "M" => "SAP MDM"=> "SAP NETWEAVER MDM 7.1"=> "Entry by Component" Master Data Server"=> "MDM Installation Master"

5. Download the Installation Master as per your OS and MDM Version. You will find SAPINST in the installation Master.

Revert if any issues.
