No active update server available (context = :D:)

Hi experts,

in our system the following error occurs:

No active update server available (context = :D:)

There is currently no active update server. Your update request
can therefore not be executed immediately. It will be processed
automatically after the update server has been started.
You can display the active update server in the update administration
(transaction SM13 -> Administration).

Transaction Canceled 15 017 ( :D: )

If I go to t-code sm13, I can see that the status is "Update is active". In the second tab "Server" (overview of update servers), the language of the update server is only "E", there is no "D". I think this will be the problem. Can anybody explains me, how to add a "D"? Or how to start a update server in context "D"?

Thanks and best regards,

Max

Hello Max,

Check the note : 333941

Are you using some other language while entering into SAP system?

If yes then can you change the user language while logging into system to english and then try.

Check this link as well

Hello Amti,

thanks for your response.

Snote #333941 doesn't help, because the Release of our system is SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1.

The error occurs during saving a user in t-code su01, it's not a BSP. I've also checked the parameter zcsa/installed_languages, it's well configured.

Best regards,

Max

Hello Max,

Is it HA system?

Please execute transaction SM28 or SICK and let us know if you see update deactivated error message.

Thanks,

Hello,

@ Sunny: I've check snote #51234 it's for SAP_AP 710, but I'm using SAP_AP 700. Also the error message 00 622 is different to our problem Transaction Canceled 15 017.

@ Siva: Hi Siva, it isn't a HA system, it's a SAP Solution Manager installation. I've executed t-code sm28, there are no errors reported.

Thanks for your answers,

Hello,

there was something wrong by installing the language. After installing it once more, it works.

Best regards,

Max
