even if you do not delete MIC, and simply overwrite existing MIC it will work.

if at all you want to add new MICs, GO to Menu-Inspection characteristic>Create

it is same like QP01.

Are you deleting and adding particular MIC from multiple inspection plan?

If this is the case then instead of deleting and adding you would have done replace MIC function through CWBQM.

Are these MICs are ref or complete copy model?

If this is the case hen use QS27, it will be very easy to use..

All MIC's are complete copy model.

then use QS27 transaction to replace MIC in inspection plan.

I think MIC should be reference for QS27.

hi,

If MIC's ar complete copy model then better to use QS27. for better understanding read what is the purpose of Complete and Incomplete type and why we use CWBQM and QS27, and why it wants refer.

Dear Rakesh,

Even i was trying the same, could not find the reason for The "LOCK" symbol.

I used MIC with Complete copy model, And i did not made any changes to that MIC while using it in inspection plan.

by the way,

If you want to replace MICs, which are locked

Use user exit QPAA0004 with FM "EXIT_SAPMQPDA_001"

Set E_LOCK_INDICATOR = 'X'

in addition you have to activate EXIT_SAPLCQBM_002.

Select the Task list Type as "Inspection Plan" just Press "F8" to load the task list.

Slect the tasklists and click on Task lists -> Inspection characteristics from menu.
