Delivery quantity is greater than target quantity

Hi Guru's,

my user works on a scenerio where he create a sales order as follow:

line item 10 material A with 14 QTY.

line item 20 material A with 10 QTY.

but at the time of PGI system throwing an error message as :Delivery quantity is greater than target quantity 10 NOS

Message no. VL363

please guid me where i have missed configuration.

First do some check

- whether the item is relevant for picking or not. If relevent for picking, whether picking is complete or not.

- Delivery Tolerance in sales order Item - shipping - Overdeliv. Tolerance & Underdel. Tolerance

Refer following SAP Consulting Notes:

- Note 151901 - Check of delivery quantity is consistent

- Note 322588 - VLSP:incor.checks for qty to be delvrd during split

Hi,

You need to create separate delivery item for each sales order item, so if you have 2 items in sales order with the same material, you need to create delivery with 2 separate items as well.

Check the following notes:-

a) Note 32200 - Picking quantity transfer in batch split

b) Note 843865 - Error message VL363 during the picking

c) Note 1345747 - TEW: Item data not created When Delivery Qty greater than SO
