Add Custom Application Components in Solution Manager for Service Desk

Hi,

We are using Solman 7.0 ehp1.

I need to add custom Application Components List in Solution Manager for Service Desk.

As we have different component list in Solman and ECC, I want to add ECC application component list in Solman.

Can anyone help in this??

Hi Gaurav,

In 7.01 you have to develop this solution.

In 7.1 it is standar and you are able to create your own components.

Hi Gaurav,

The answer to your problem is simple

first upgrade to 7.1 which is SAP always recommends.

and in standard configuration you can do the same

otherwise you have to do lot of hard coding and modify the standard in 7.01 and this will create more problems for you during upgrade later stage.

But on Page 8 of the Document they have mentioned that addition of custom component is done with the help of some custom program which is not mentioned in the Document.

Second link is talking about modifying table dswp_csncomp. But when I try to modify this table with t-code SE16, create database entry button are disabled.

I have checked for all authorizations. Kindly help in this if I can modify this DB table.

Or can anyone provide me with custom program to modify application components ??
