Hi All,
While creating a measuring point in that one field 'ANNUAL ESTIMATE' exists. My Question is what is the actual mean of that and How it impact on counter based Plan?
Regards,
Varma.
Hi
The annual estimate is used in counter-based regular maintenance for calculating maintenance intervals.
Based annual estimate, performanced plans are scheduled.
Example:
Annual estimate: 10000HRs
Daily value : 10000/365=27Hrs per day
you plan will be scheduled accordingly

Actually, an Annual Estimate measured in operating hours will be closer to 8000-8500
As Seenu pointed out, this means that SAP will calculate the average amout of hours (or flow, or mileage, or whatever characteristic you assign) per day, and will schedule your Counter-based plan accordingly. So, if for example your Annual Estimate is 8500 H, and you've got a maintenance plan with a cycle (or package) of 1000 H , your average hours per day is about 23,22 and the plan will be scheduled to call the maintenance every 43 days.
However, if a measurement document is entered with a significant deviation from the average (e.g. the equipment had been in an outage for 2 weeks and not accrued any operating hours in that period), the system will reschedule using the Annual Estimate and the last measurement entered.
