In one of our solutions we have the SAP PPM 5.0 directly linked with the back-end system. Or our RPM is directly linked with SAP PS (we don't use cPRojects)
The direct link is established between an Item and a PS Project; we also have a data synchronization (via DFM) which ensures the synchronization of the sytem status of the PS project definition to the linked Portfolio Item.
Now, when we technically close the PS project (TECO) the linked item will as such receive also the same status. However in the standard setup this Portfolio Item also becomes an 'Inactive' Item; (list of Inactive Items)
Is there any way via customizing to go against this automatic flag of Inactive? so it remains an Active Item
...tricky one..
Hi Bert,
SAP Portofolio Item dashboards has been redefined for performance problems with all items, Active Items, Inactive items, proposals, escalation etc.
The Status groups of the Portfolio Item will decide whether the Item has to be in Active or Inactive tab.
Configure accordingly for the Portfolio Item Types in the Configuration.
Only CLOSED & CANCELED STATUS GROUPS assgined to the object statuses defined will be shown in INACTIVE TAB of Item dashboard, rest all will be shown in the ACTIVE tab.
