I have a consumer proxy which was created in ECC 4.6 and was working using an RFC Destination (SM59) with:
technical settings to specify the target host, service number or port, and the path to the service;
and Security tab is set with userid / password to the remote server and specifies a SSL Certificate.
Then we had used LPCONFIG to reference the RFC Destination created via SM59 under the Parameters tab for HTTP Destination, binding type = http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/http.
Now we are upgrading our SAP system to ECC 6.0 EhP 5 and I am not able to successfully test the Consumer Proxy. I have been trying to use SOAMANAGER to confgure the Logical Port (as the DEFAULT port created from LPCONFIG is no longer there). I have tried to create this manually using the same information from old system SM59 and LPCONFIG settings but cannot get a sucessful 'Ping Web Service'. How can I specify either the SSL Certificate OR specify the RFC Destination? The RFC Destination does Test Successfully from SM59 post upgrade.
In SOAMANAGER, I select Consumer Proxy, and Configuration tab, then Create Logical Port button (Manual Configuration). Do the values under Transport Settings for URL Access Path, Computer name, and Port Number correspond to the settings in LPCONFIG?
Should URL Protocol be HTTP or HTTPS ?
Any information you can give on how to configure the Logical Port in SOAMANAGER for Consumer Proxy would be helpful.
