Change Maintain Organization Views configurations in IMG

Hi,

We want to use the same organization view for all GRC components. Therefore I want to change the settings in the IMG Node u2018Governance, Risk and Complianceu2019 u2013 u2018Shared Master Data Settingsu2019 u2013 u2018Maintain Organization Viewsu2019 u2013 u2018Maintain Organization Views configurationsu2019. Currently the tabe is filled as follows:

002 / GRC-AC / Standard Hierarchy / Standard Hierarchy / Default view

002 / GRC-PC / Standard Hierarchy / Standard Hierarchy / Default view

003 / GRC-RM / Risk Hierarchy / Risk Hierarchy / Default view

I have recently created these entries myself since the original table was empty (I copied these settings from another environment). This results in all my RM risks currently connected to organizations from the standard hierarchy. However I cannot change them, since the Risk Hierarchy does not contain anything.

I would like to allign all three components and configure the table as follows:

002 / GRC-AC / Standard Hierarchy / Standard Hierarchy / Default view

002 / GRC-PC / Standard Hierarchy / Standard Hierarchy / Default view

002 / GRC-RM / Standard Hierarchy / Standard Hierarchy / Default view

However when I try to delete the row with '003' and create the italic one, GRC won´t allow me to save it, since I cannot change the default view for application component Risk Management.

Does anyone have a suggestion how to solve this problem?

Thanks a lot,

Joris

Hi Roberto,

To solve the problem, please follow the following steps (in the exact order):

- Go to IMG node "Activate Applicactions in Client"

- Disable the applications where you want to change the organization view

- Go to IMG node "Maintain Organization Views"

- Adjust the view as required (it is now possible to change the default view for the disabled components)

- Go back to the IMG Node "Activate Applications in Client"

- Enable the applications again

- Check the workflow post installation again (there were some problems at my instance, although I´m not sure whether that has been caused by these steps).

Please let me know if this solves the problem.

Hi Chema,

Sorry for my delayed response. I have been able to solve this problem in the end, but it was tricky to do (although it works perfectly right now).

If you still need to solve this problem, please send me a message.
