Error while starting mds - MDM 5.5

Hello all,

I have installed MDM 5.5 on Unix/Oracle environment.

I am not able to start mds as the system detects that it is already running. However, I see no mds process running. When I give the command mds stop, the system gets hung. Please let me know a solution to this tricky situation.

$ clix mdsMonitor corpp02

Loading '/usr/sap/R2Q/LangStrings/CatMgrCommonCore.lang' (eng_US)...

Loaded 1423 strings from '/usr/sap/R2Q/LangStrings/CatMgrCommonCore.lang'

Error: 0xffab400e, MDS is not running on this host

$ mds start

starting mds

mds is already running.

I see no error logs in nohup.out file.

Hello,

How are you trying to connect to the MDS.

Try using console and also check the version's, all should be the same.

Could you check you clix version number?

I suppose it's different with your mds server.

Try to connect this server from SAP MDM Console (from any workstation in your network)
