SPAM TP_BUFFER_INCONSISTENCY + PREPARE_XPRA error

Hi Team,

Am not able to update SPAM due below error.

Error in phase: PREPARE_XPRA

Reason for error: TP_BUFFER_INCONSISTENCY

Return code: 0008

Error message: Pkgs. in queue don"t exist in the tp buffer (e.g.

SAPKITLRB1)

1) Already I have deleted the buffer and added it again and tried .

2) In PAT01/PAT03 I have chaged the staues and tried again.

as per the logs it showing support packs imported successfully but still error is there in SPAM

Can you please help me this !

Hi Bikshamaiah,

You can solve this problem by deleting entries with status ='?' in PAT01, PAT03 and PAT10 tables.

This way you will be able to delete the particular queue and spam was reset. This can be a last option to solve this problem..

please clear all the ? marks entries in these tables....

Before you retry check your buffer status :

tp showbuffer <SID> pf=<tp_domain_SID.pfl -DSOURCESYSTEMS TAG=SPAM

There should be nothing pending in it. You may use delfrombuffer if required.

You may also like to use funtion module OCS_RESET_QUEUE to reset queue

Yes, please get rid of the unknown status entries ("?") in the PAT tables as already

said depending on the tp showbuffer output as a last step.

Thank you very much, the problem got soloved

Below steps I have done

in PAT01 and PAT03 patch status(successully imported) has been changed with help of ABAPers
