ALV Export functionality

Hai,

I have a ALV to display the result and in one of the column there will be buttons which will be visible based on the value in another columnn.In the ALV toolbar there is a standard EXPORT button to export the data to the excel file.when i export the data by clicking excell button data is exported but for the button column in ALV it displays the label of the button in excel file.I dont want this to be exported.My requirement is i want to interrupt the functionality after choosing export button so that i have to change the data transfer to the file.Is it possible?

Hi,

Instead of changing standard functionality, I would suggest you, First suppress the option of Export to Excel in ALV. Then create a custom button Export to Excel in toolbar of ALV and in onAction of custom Export button Export the requires columns to Excel.
