How to get overallocation alert message in BOPI

Hi,

I want alert message during BOPI for overallocation but currently not getting that.Please help me on how to get overallocation alert message in BOPI.

I am using SCM5.0.

HI Dipankar,

The requested message will be displayed if a overallocation situation occurs, but I suppose you do not run an allocation check ?

For testing create a sales order with hugh quantity and try to confirm this order in BOPI, you should get several warning that you have created a overallocation...

I tried the same but not getting any alert message.I want to have this alert.

So,what I need to do to get this overallocation alert while doing BOPI.

Hi Dipankar

As per SAP help this should work but I have never seen it working myself, probably due to custom developments involved. Did you try to also configure an alert profile as mentioned in the following link and test it?

As per documentation, you should see the alerts for Product Allocation in Alert Monitor which may be different from normal overconfirmation alert that is generated at the bottom of the screen as warning.
