Converting XIR2 SP2 universes to Information Design Tool compatible files

Hi,

Have installed BO4 client tools and can successfully open XIR2 SP2 universe (.unv file) using Universe Design tool in BO4.

Was trying to use the Information Design Tool and convert the .unv file to be compatible with the Information Design Tool but mentions not from the correct version.

What steps do we need to do to convert a .unv file from XIR2 SP2 to be usable in Information Design Tool.

Thoughts are can open and sabe the .unv file fine using BO4 universe Design Tool then convert resulting .unv file to use in IDT.

Could we then take this file and convert to a IDT compatible file?

Hi,

You should move the XIR2 content into BI4.0 using the Upgrade Manager (rather than opening the .unv file from a filestore)

The same goes for .wid, .rpt, and .rep (for conversion).
