Hi Friends,

when we are trying to post Idoc to create sales order, Idoc status is showing error as "Enter requested delivery date" with status 51. and error message no is V1394. we found that user is trying to post the Idoc with two delivery dates.

Kindly help me to find out the root cause of this issue....why system is throwing error as "Enter requested delivery date"

Thanks in Advance,

Reagards,

Babu

Execute BD87 with the From-To Date so that you will find a screen where a red icon would be there against the error message. Place your mouse on this and click on "Display IDocs". Now double click on that IDoc number so that you will find one more screen where on left side, two tabs would be there; one is Data records and another is Status records. Expand the Status records so that system will show as to why, the IDoc was not processed.

Hi Babu,

Normally customer will forward 2 types of delivery date

1. Requrested Delivery Date (Goods reaching to the customer door step, EDI qualifier '002')

2. Requested shipping Date (Googs leaving from shipping from warehouse, EDI qualifier '10')

In the above case SAP will take only requested Shipping date which can be mapped at E1EDK03 - DATUM with E1EDK03 - IDDAT is equal to '002'.

Let me know whether you are mapping IDOC with EDI message. If so then you need to map with the EDI qualifier '10'

Hi

"Requested Delivery Date" is a single date field which is customer requested delivery date for the materials being ordered. It is maintained in Header level with single field, hence you need to provide 1 date.

If suppose you want to maintain different req. del. dates, then you can maintain at Item level for each item. But at Header level you can maintain only 1 date.

Hope it may help you.

Very rightly analyzed by you that

user is trying to post the Idoc with two delivery dates.

can be one of the reason for the error.

I hope SAP Note 401261 - Message V1394: Enter the requested delivery date should be able to assist with Symptom, Cause and prerequisites & Solution.
