Deletion of PR /Material from Project Builder

Hello,

Once Purchase requisiton is created in Project Builder and Purchase Order is place, later even though we delete the material from purchase order, but still system does not allow to delete the material/purcahse requisition from Project Builder. Also Budget remains allocated to the extend of Purchase requisition for which materials is already deleted in Purchase Order.

Kindly tell me if Purchase requisition is deleted from Purchase Order, system should allow to delete the same in Project Builder also(cj20n)

Hi,

The PR dosent get deleted and even if you try deleting the activity it dosent get deleted once PO is made. If you delete the PO the commitment is shown against PR. If you want to delete this then short close the PR/ Block the line item or teco the line item.

Thanks for your quick response.Acually if i'll go with short close or Teco the line item the committment would be there in Cj20n.We want to remove this from project builder.

Hi,

Commitment won't be there in report you can check it with s_alr_87013558 report, yes but ofcourse you can see the PR/ activity in cj20n but as deleted/blocked
