Hi,

Can anyone please tell me if I can create the following elements in APO manually

1. Sales order

2. VMI Sales order

3. TLB VMI sales order

4. Deplyment Preq

5. TLB order

Hi SS,

Only for TLB orders, you would get the option to create it directly in an SNP view which has TLB allowed.

Deployment Preqs would be available after Deployment run only.

TLB VMI Sales order would be available only after TLB run (assuming that you have the whole VMI setup done already).

So, in short, it's only possible to create TLB order directly in APO.

Hi Sriman,

1. Sales order - Can be created using BAPI

2. VMI Sales order - Not sure (but a normal sales order created through BAPI should serve your purpose)

3. TLB VMI sales order - Not sure (but a normal sales order created through BAPI should serve your purpose)

4. Deplyment Preq - Can be created through BAPI

5. TLB order - This is nothing but a P.O, can be created using BAPI

Hi Ashok,

I know that via a BAPI , it can be done.

Can you please let me know if the same can be created manually via RRP3 or some other TCode.

(For example, we can create a Pu req manualy from RRP3 in change mode)

Hi Sriman,

BAPI is the standard method to create these orders.

You can call these BAPIs in programs to create mass orders.

RRP3 is a PPDS view, orders you create here will be PPDS orders.

Heuristic orders can be created from planning book.

Deployment orders/TLB confirmed orders/Sales orders can be created through BAPIs only.
