Hello,
I have tried doing the MSMP workflow configurations as per AC 10.0 Customizing Workflows for Access Management.pdf
But still i am not getting idea about what many things like, in 5.3 we configure stages, and we include multiple stages in one path.
Can any one explain in details how to configure stage and paths...
Regards,
Sumanth
Hello,
To configure any workflow in MSMP we need to create stages with approvers in BRF+ tcode,go through the BRF+ PDF and then use those rules in MSMP workflow

Hi Baithi,
I am expecting to know the following
01) Process Global Settings - here we have many processes with
1.1 Escalation
1.2 Notofications
1.3 Escape Conditions ( Escape path is always taking GRAC_DEFAULT_PATH)
02) Maintain Rules:
2.1 Agent Rule (have got Rule results with add/modify/delete options are available)
2.2 A few got Global rules associated with it. where we have process initiator and notifcation rule)
My question here is: with in Agent rule itself why do we have different setup? Pls refer above highlited words.
2.3 We have initiator and routing rules are here. ( for SoD violation check, no role owner)
03) Maintain Agents
3.1 Notification Agents
3.2 Approval Agents
__What is the difference between 2.1 and 3.2? 2.2 and 3.1 ??_
05) Maintain Paths:
in the path we have only GRAC_DEFAULT_PATH... If i wanted to design workflow for diff initiators how to do? for all the initiators its taking only default path. in some cases its blank not able to select one. e.g. Role Approval Workflow
I think BRF+ is for CAD rules. pls correct me if i am wrong.
Pls advice.
Regards,
Sumanth
Hello
Process Global Settings
we can maintain global settings for a process. It allows to:
u2022 Enable escalations on a fixed date.
u2022 Set up escape paths in case an approver is not found or if provisioning fails
To process the global settings:
1. Choose Display/Change.
2. In the Escalation column, select the checkbox if you want to enable escalation for the process.
3. In the Escape Conditions section, maintain the Escape Path, Escape Routing, and Escape Stage.
Maintain Rules
You can add, modify, or delete MSMP workflow rules.
To add a rule:
1. Choose the Add pushbutton.
2. In the Rule Kind column, select a rule kind from the dropdownlist.
3. In the Rule Type column, select a rule type from the dropdownlist.
4. In the Rule Description column, enter a description.
5. In the Global Rules section, select the Process Initiator and the Notification Rule. The Process Initiator specifies the initiator rule the process uses. The Notification Rule specifies the notification rule the process uses to resolve variables in the notification template.
Maintain Agents
You can create agents for approval or notification purposes. The possible agent types are:
u2022 Directly mapped users.
A group of users created within the workflow configuration.
u2022 PFCG roles.
All users who have specified PFCG role assignments.
u2022 PFCG User Group.
All users who are part of the specified PFCG group.
u2022 GRC API rules.
All users returned by the configured rule in the previous activities.
