Alternate Resource in SNP- PDS

Alternate resource ( Class type: 019 , Classification Alternate_resource)used in Recipe integrated to Production Version has to be CIFed to APO in SNP - PDS.

Alternate resource is not transterred to SNP- pds

Hi, Did you managed to transfer the alternate modes in SNP PDS?  We have the same requirement and currently SNP PDS is created with only one mode.  Alternate mode is not generated

As such several SNP PDS with alternate resources is not possible unlike PPM.Since you can only create one mode per activity in the SNP PPM/PDS,you cannot define any alternative resources for a production activity.To define alternative resources, you must create one PPM per mode combination.This is not supported in PDS.(The functionality to to create several PDS for the several alternative resources will not be supported ,like the case of SNP PPM).But with BADI on R/3-Side,this could be realized by restricting the Mode priority.(Method NO_RESOURCE_WORKCENTER_CLASS of the BADI CUSLNTRTO_ADDIN).Refer Note>357178 in this regard.So,at the outset to avoid this problem,please CIF the required mode priority resource from R/3 by restricting it with the BADI,so that 0nly the required resource only is present in APO.Further,please refer note>832393,page 23 "SNP-PDS Generation from R/3:""SNP works with bucket oriented with longer horizon than PP/DS. And hence SNP works only with Linear Relationships of activities.No Paralellity of activities as PP/DS allowed. Please refer to Note 832393
