Leave deducted from Absence Quota and not showing on Absense

Dear Expert,

Pls help me on below scenario.

2days Leave got deducted from absense quota IT2006 but not reflecting on absence IT2001. and while trying to delete absence quota it's not getting deleated and throwing error " deduction already happened and you can't delete".

Hi,

In T. Code "PT50" there is "Expand All" tab is there. You can easily find out.. Might be Any counting rule problem is there check once again or After Absence updation have you changed any configuration setting for counting rule? If yes you need to update master data once again through change mode of Employee master.

Final option is delete from PA2001 table.

Thanks a lot for your valuable reply.

I got where the issue is. As per client requirement earlier I configured the system in such a way that: when an employee is applying for any annual leave or personal leave, system should check the Compensatory off (CTO) leave balance first and if any deduct from that first then from annual or personal leave.

So in this case when the employee applied for 2 days of personal leave system checked the CTO leave balance first and deduct it from there as balance was there. So in absence quota it's showing 2 days leave deducted from CTO balance but in absence it's showing 2 days personal leave taken and not CTO.

Now the client want the data should be maintain and it should reflect as CTO taken in absence.

Is it possible??? if yes how?? pls help

Hi,

IT 2006 Specifices an employee entitlement to time off for the limited period. and IT 2001 will record the absence days basec on absence type quota

So can you be specific, have you deducted quota from IT 2001 if yes check it in an overview it will show the limited number of quota deduction and go to PT50 where you can view the balance of quota for that employee.

The above question says that you have taken leave from IT 2006 and checked in IT 2001?? IS THAT possible.

If you want to delete the quota what you have created go to IT 2001 1st and click on over view and from there delete it. and again if you want to create please create it from IT 2001 and not from IT 2006
