SAP Netweaver CTI Integration

I would like to know whether SAP Integrated Communication Interface - ICI holds good for SAP Netweaver as well? I have a customer who has SAP Netweaver with sales/marketing/order processing modules & wants to integrated PBX system through CTI.

Thanks!! The docs states integration through SAP Phone. SAP Integrated Communication Interface -ICI is web services based specifications for CTI/E-mail/Chat integration. Just wanted confirmation if ICI specs hold good for SAP Netwaeaver as well.
